Being of perfect pitch I have to disagree about yur assessment of Jessica on Sunday. I found that she struggled through both of her songs vocally, where pitch was a little flat on many occasions and the control was not there. I have heard her sing brilliantly but too many times I have also heard her vocal control lacking. Damian I find has great control over his instrument and has been consistent with it. His choice of being a ballad man is his own. There have been many artists that basically choose to do ballads and have been successful doing that, as there have been many artists that can only do upbeat numbers well. I still think that Jessica is a few years away from being a long stayer in the industry and I feel that if she wins, we could have another Casey Donovan / Kate Derauge winner that has no real longevity.
