| From the Where2sing.com forum: I had a weird night. I went to a venue that I hadn't been to quite some time for a various of reasons, poor rotation and an option that suited me better up the road (things like a song selection I liked, bristo and better range of beers). Tonights venue has really friendly barstaff who refuse to let me pay for my drinks and really encourage me to sing which is very nice of them (I'm an average singer btw) but I couldn't never figure out why. The KJ however, is the opposite and I know if I go there I'll get one and only one song over the night where the crowd size means it would normally be 3 or 4.
Well, tonight, exactly the same. Someone at our table said 'this place is off the boil' and another commented on the wildly out of whack rotation. KJ was poker faced as usual. Sound, list and setup are all fine. I just scratched my head and said I can't figure this place out and we moved on. Anyone else found places where it just doesn't make sense?
