| From the Where2sing.com forum: I think there's an obvious difference between quoting some part of a copyrighted work for the purpose of identifying it, and the copying of a copryrighted work in full.
To the poster 2 posts below this, perhaps you'd like to give us the source of your information that putting quotation marks around copyrighted lyrics reproduced in full makes them legal? If there's any likelihood that quotation marks are a factor in the legality of reproduction of copyrighted work, I'm happy to check it with APRA so that we can all benefit from this knowledge - it's just that I haven't heard of this before...
