| From the Where2sing.com forum: Having seen both and many more acts usally at one of my local pubs at the time ( yes all the great bands played at local pubs in those days ) i must say they knew what the crowd wanted ...........but what worries me is that it will become harder and harder for the youth to get there songs out there if the recorded companies feel there is not much money to be made and even worse these songs i've menstion and others , like that Aussie boy ( man ) band that are now only singing old 50-60's songs and going to number one on the charts i'm afraid you may see these artist i've commented on will also go to the top of the chart , Gee;'s look at Rod Stewart new album ( doing old 60's-70's-80's songs ) , smashing all charts over sea's , its abit like a karaoke show if people don't spend there money at the place the karaoke show will soon get the boot for something that will turn-over the bucks...
