Music Addict - where is 'Cucumber' Community Club?? That is is new one one me!! I think you mean Cumberland Community Club!! (lol). Like you, I also wish all the contestants in the grand final tonight all the very best of luck. I think it will be a good show with 12 very talented contestants going up against each other for the big first prize of $3,000. Mick, George and Joe are at CCC now setting up the equipment, and I'm here on my own!! Oh well, what else is new??? I believe that there is regular karaoke on tonight but I don't think I will even bother to put in any songs, the talent contest contestants will be given the chance to sing a 'warm up' song if they wish and they are given preference to sing first, so the normal karaoke singer will just have to wait. I don't know what time karaoke is starting, whether it is the usual time of 7.30PM or if it will be earlier. The cocktail party (for the grand final contestants and others who were invited) is on from 6PM.
Johnny B. Like you, I am wondering what this 'MIss Mistletoe' is like, she is telling everyone on this site what a successful business woman she is, so I would like to meet her and she what she is like. I run a business from home, but I don't go 'blowing my own horn' on here and saying how good I am, humility never hurt anyone.
There is still one person that I want to 'come clean' on this forum and that is the person who accuses me of having to 'prop Mick up' at karaoke. I have a strong feeling that I know who wrote it, I don't know why they won't own up to it and discuss this rationally with me on here, but there again, if this is the person that I think it is, then being rational and being truthful are two things that SHE doesn't know much about. This person seems to respond (anonymously) by putting articles on 'Boiling Point', not really the way to go. I am ready and willing to discuss this (or any other topic) with this person on this forum at any time.
