| From the Where2sing.com forum: One thing I forgot to mention is my changing musical taste over the years, and thus my changing concept of what is and what is not a hit song. I appreciate MUSIC ADDICT's insight into his dalliance with performers some of us may not have heard of - some people may unkindly refer to him as a music-elitist, but I see it as that he has reached 'music-maturity' – a stage at one’s musical journey where one is so over the popular, and now look for something much more in music. That's how I am seeing my growing interest in COUNTRY MUSIC … OK, you can all pick yourselves off the floor now and stop laughing – that’s rude ! The Foxtel Country Channel is what I leave on when I do not want to watch anything in particular, or when I am not in the mood to put on any particular music - CM these days is so diverse that I now find CM so refreshingly new, so relaxing, with every song painting a complete picture and telling a stirring story ... PS: Some of Delta's songs could well be termed 'new Country' ....
