| From the Where2sing.com forum: Catman, I can relate to what you have said about karaoke and the things that have gone on. When I started coming to karaoke shows, I thought it was a good way to meet people and make new friends. That has happened but as you have said, there have been conflicts between some people, which is a shame as all the people who go to various karaoke shows have one thing in common and that is to go there to sing. It is a pity that arguments and conflict can arise but there again it can come from the old adage of 'familiarity breeds contempt'. I will catch up with you either Wednesday or Thursday and we can talk then, usual place.
Red, I know you have your problems with this person, but you really need to work this out. You have to wonder if this forum is the place to bring this, as you are indirectly involving everyone else who reads the postings on here. Granted I know what your problems are with this person and I know what she has done to a few people (me included) but really it is better to take this kind of major grievance off the forum and face off with her and get it all out in the open. Whether this person is masquarading on here under another name will never be known for sure, so my advice (for what it is worth) is to get this out in the open in person with her. Good luck.
