To Karma Karaoke Kay

How's things in the Sunshine State? Nice to hear from you again. As you have read a lot has been going on, but from now on I have made the resolve to myself that I am not going to think about it any more, put it all behind me as a bad experience and get on with life. To me, today is very much the start of the rest of my life. I have a loving husband and family (even if they are 4 legged furry ones) lol... good friends and really, can anyone ask for more than that?

With the karaoke shows that I go to, they are (for the most part) very friendly. Due to my husband Mick being a host, then I only go to the shows that he hosts, and at present that is something like 4 or 5 a week, but with the 'silly season' kicking in, then that will go down to 2 or 3 a week, which is more than enough for me. I am one of the ones who used to sit in the audience and never get up to sing, but Mick changed all of that about 5 years ago at the Auburn Hotel when he got me up to sing 'Beautiful Sunday' with him.

If you ever want to 'talk' to me away from the forum, the ask David to give you my e-mail address and you can contact me that way. Sometimes it is better not to raise some issues on the forum, and yes before all you guys come down on me, I know I have been guilty of it. As I said, today is the first day of the rest of my life.

Mic Rophone:

I respect your views on things so before you get on here and go off at me for what I said last night on here, let it go, we have a mutual respect for each other and are at least talking to each other at shows now, so please leave it at that.

Better go and get some work done. Have a good day everyone.
