Whatever happened to the Gary's of the Triple 8? The first Gary who used to host that is who used to sing A-Ha's ''Take On Me'' and many other songs all flawlessly and the regular patron Gary with glasses and sideburns?
Come to think of it, whatever happened to the whole Triple 8 crowd? I know Eagle Rock's still around but what about Summer and Gabby and hot barmaid Sarah? Mmmmmmm.............. Sarahhhhhhhhhhh.............
Whatever happened to Sarah Blue from the Henson Park Hotel after she quit barmaiding there? Mmmmm.... ANOTHER hot barmaid called Sarahhhhhhhhh............ lol. She used to sing Alanis Morissette's ''Thank You'' and Cyndi Lauper's ''True Colours'' and we'd often team up to sing Mariah Carey's cover of ''I'll Be There.''
Whatever happened to Eddy - he of many a wild hair do who last I heard was doing shows for Mr Rob Deal? Eddy and I go back 10 years now through a once mutual friend. Haven't seen him in a couple of years now.
Whatever happened to Malaina the great R'n'B singer from Parramatta's Commercial Hotel when Andrew and Nick used to run it there? She moved to Qld with her hubby (Jody?), I know that much. She and I used to sing Prince's ''Diamonds & Pearls'' and Luther & Janet's ''Best Things In Life Are Free.''
Whatever happened to ''Little Chris'' who used to work for Carry On Karaoke? Is he still kicking on around the place? Friendly bear of a bloke complete with shaggy beard and a deep voice. Anyone seen him around the traps lately?
Any more up to date info on these people would be appreciated! I desire a visit from the Ghost of Karaoke Past to let me know where these folk have disappeared to! That's what you get for being such a social slutterfly as myself for so long. You lose touch with people even though you don't mean to. Dagnabbit! If only I had email back THEN!
