| From the Where2sing.com forum: Catman, Yes I know, I should work in marketing or something similar, I do what I do because I want to see MICK succeed, they say that behind every good man is a good woman (whether I am that good woman I don't know) but I know that I am the force behind Mick. I was the one who got Mick out of the slump he was in when he finished up with the other karaoke company (I won't mention names as I can't stand that man and no, it is not the one you are thinking of), and I was the one who suggested to George that he take Mick on, which he did and I don't think that he regrets it. No I didn't get anything from George for Christmas other than 'Merry Christmas Roz' but there again, I don't work for him, Mick does, he got a gift from him which I think that given the work he does for that company, he rightly deserved. George does come on here and looks around, but doesn't often make comments, although I don't think he is a subscriber, I am not 100% sure on that one. If as Catman suggests, someone would like to hire me to push for their shows, then get in touch with me, hey, I'm not joking!!! I'm good at what I do, just ask Catman, she knows me quite well. If I believe passionately in something, then yes I do push for it and a lot of the time it gets me into trouble on this website, people have a go at me because they think I am 'pushing the boundaries' too much. I've worked for a couple of different karaoke companies and I don't know if I want to do it again. Really I am happy just being a singer, I don't have to do the packing up and unpacking of all the gear (and believe me some of that stuff is HEAVY!!), but I suppose I would like to be involved in karaoke in some way, I don't know how though.

I think that seeing that the State Government is going to give us an extra public holiday this year because of some conference coming to Sydney that needs extra security and not a lot of people wandering around Sydney going to such things as jobs (heaven help them for doing that) why not call in the Karaoke Industry Holiday?? (LOL)!!!! While we are on the subject, Catman can run for Prime Minister at the next election, I will run for State Premier and Barri Tone - you can run for Dog Catcher (LOL.....!!). Could we do a worse job than what is being done now??? (LOL......!!!).
Now that the ridiculous stuff is done with I will answer one of Johnny B's questions: Hound Dog Karaoke is now Karaoke Kapers, still run by George Galea and the one that my husband Mick works for. Still has shows around, consult Gig Guide for these. I remember the talent contests at Rydalmere Bowling Club, how I hated the steps leading onto that stage!!! That is all I can help you with though.
