I remember you had a long haul ( with your agenda [da barstards stole my gig] ) could've been called Karaoke's Kokoda trail, but your ability to stay focused on the issue , & keep the whole thing constructive (whilst still landing a couple of grammatical grenades ) , has won you the respect of everyone in the forum. We want to make sure that those who reckon they can land a couple of easy hits , are gonna be around to offer the forum & indeed the karaoke industry something more than ''I think so -&-so is a shit singer'' , especially if we cant make that judgement of them.
Some of you may recall there being a web site for ''beautiful people'' , where people had to submit a picture of themselves to be invited into the ''beautiful club''. Some desperately insecure people were (& probably still are) submitting various pictures dozens (even hundreds) of times to try & gain inclusion in this Mr & Mrs Vain club . And who are the judges ? Next it could be the same for Karaoke...... & who , again will be the judge ? Those who want to see some people banned for their sing ing might not , themselves make the exclusive club. Like I said , It comes down to the switched-on host / sound tech turning up the fold back & turning down the front of house (just a little) , where neccessary , to keep everyone happy... ie doing their job as a professional !! LOL
