Just for the record, there are some professionals here too but I agree, the majority of folk here tend to get worked up over nothing.
On the subject of talent being shown by performing multiple genres, I agree. Yes, LeatherBaron, it can be a talent to do one song well and a bonus to do a handful but I would call that a 'low' level of talent. To be able to do many songs well requires a 'high' level of talent. Someone who can not only sing a great number but also play an instrument or dance or juggle or whatever at the same time is just a show off and shouldn't be allowed to.......... um..... I mean.... is a VERY talented individual! lol

Thanks for the info on Little Chris and the Triple 8 crowd. I may just have to pop down to the Bald Faced Stag one of these Sundays when I can drag myself away from recording and say hello to Gary. Whomever it was who put him down, had you seen him at the Triple 8, you'd not be knocking him. However, I haven't seen him since then so I hope you are wrong in calling him a has been cos I loved his voice and attitude and professionalism back in those days.
To those here who have kept it light hearted and fun like karaoke is supposed to be, good on you, keep it up and I hope the rest follow your example is all I can say.
