I appreciate your comments, George has been back in the 'hot seat' at CCC for quite some time now, it is his gig, Mick only hosts there when George is unable to do a show for some reason. They do have different styles of comparing, George is very full on, very upbeat (although how he does it all the time is beyond me) whereas Mick is more laid back and has a more relaxed style about him. I suppose if all hosts were the same that it would get a bit boring. Mick is quite often called on to do the show at CCC at the last minute and even though hosting a show doesn't appear to be tiring, Mick is often quite buggered at the end of the night. When it comes to Mick and his hosting style though I am hardly the person to talk to about it as with being his wife then I see him as being a good host (he has worked hard enough at it over the years), and I suppose I don't really give an objective opinion of his hosting style. Some people like it, some don't. Most people who come to the Band Club really love his hosting style especially when he is working with Joe as the two of them work so well together. They have a lot of fun together, although he does have fun with George too when he is working with him. Mick is by nature a quieter person that George, that is just how he is.
I am pleased to see so many people coming to CCC on a Tuesday night and it is good for the club to once again have the number of singers that were there in previous times.
Yes I do know that both you and Ray had your own reasons for not coming to CCC, but I hope that they are now resolved. As you have been coming to the club for the past few weeks and you say that you enjoy the show, then I hope that it continues for a long time to come.
Sorry that I haven't been able to catch up with you at the regular 'haunt' this week, it has been a busy week for me.
