Sorry but HOW can you not know of what shows Rob runs and where they are? He seems to be one of the busiest hosts around with about 5 shows a week that I just know of and I don't even know Rob personally. I am also not a subscriber and don't have auto access to the gig listings. Not to mention two of his shows are in the top ten and although he doesn't physicall host them now he has done and they are a credit to him. Alot of publicity was given to both Kellys and Grumpies over the last two weeks and since I see your name on here a lot, how could you not know his shows? Rob does trivia and DJing too, he's hardly a no namer.....
As for saying you not affiliated to a karaoke show/owner, if your husband works for one that makes you affiliated, unless the whole definition of marriage has changed. Not biased, thats funny. A lot of us are biased (prob even me) just cause we like the host or owner.
Anyway, please do come to one of his shows, if you want a busy, high powered fun night go to Friday with Mike but if you want a more laid back night go to Grumpies, the renos are nearly done. Or go to Robs show which he runs himself in the gig listing out West, I have only been once but it was fun with a good variety of characters and of course Robs smart #rse wit (and thats a compliment). I'm planing of heading out there again soon, I just like a beer but it's harder to walk home from there (heh).
It's fine to be honest (if thats what it is) but maybe naming companies in a negative light isn't very nice. Just my 'honest' opinion.
