| From the Where2sing.com forum: sing4fun: my reply to rovics was aimed as a reply to his post about ignorance, which although not by name was directed at me which is rovics style...Now as for the post you refer to that he can't monitor 24/7 so she will get him was, i have learnt from kkk, is only a snippet taken from a private email sent to David, so none of us are priviy to all the facts there as we have not seen the whole of that email and the context it was used...
My strong opinion i'm sorry is a family trait and one which i can't change, but i do have positive things to say when i don't have to defend my words or actions to other people like yourself.. If you don't want it then don't reply to it...
Now, is good sound all there is to a karaoke show?? I believe not as the average drinker/singer like myself really doesn't care about the quality but rather the atmosphere that is created after all if it's dull and boring then good sound means diddly. However if a place is jumping and going off then also good sound is irrelevant it is the atmosphere created by the host and the people in the venue that make it worth going to, for example the victory in brisbane is a place with lots of atmosphere but average sound., But it's loads of fun. Why?? The people make it fun!!
