| From the Where2sing.com forum: Johnny B... karaoke cards are an interesting idea, because the licencing would really be no different than for any other type of musical card (if indeed they are legal ...?). The mechanism by which the song is embedded is cheap and easily available, and it would help that no vocals are required (are there vocals in existing cards?), and since the music is such a basic rendition I guess that it would be made from a simple MIDI file and that no traditional karaoke manufacturer would be involved.
