| From the Where2sing.com forum: Johnny B,Thought I might just tell you of my two sons experience of a couple of weeks ago at a club not that far away from home hense the reason they were walking home instead of driving.An argument started in the club which I found out from security wasn't my sons doing.Which is why my sons were let out of the club by a side entrance.There were6 men and 4 women.They were spotted by the mob and were chased through the streets. one of my sons picked up a stick to defend himself the other one pulled a piece of branch from a tree which they swung around to try and stop the men from getting them .Anyway my sons were got to the ground and beaten with the sticks they'd gotten to defend themselves with, they were in a real mess.GUESS WHAT??my sons are the ones in court for ,GET THIS, SURROUNDING TEN PEOPLE AND ATTACKING THEM.My boys were held down while the girls stomped all over their faces and my youngest son couldnt swollow even water without pain in his throat for days after the attack.This venue had a disco that night but I go there all the time for karaoke on a saturday night NO PROBLEM.That night there were fights everywhere youd look ,on the carpark ,in the streets it was mayhem .So I dont know about this arming oneself for protection as its backfired on my sons.
