If we started too late in the Valley we would miss the early Traffic marching past looking for a place to go...and as you say James there is a Chain reaction effect ..if the room is full relatively early in the night..that tends to set the pace for a very busy night and a full room is far more attractive to .....particularly young people...... than an empty one...Of course the Valley entertainment precinct is a bit different from your local suburban pub however I think its wise to start as close as possible to the advertised starting time....which in fact may vary from venue to venue depending on the circumstance
