| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi James....exactly right.....and also there is a huge difference between a 'perception of Loudness' and actual loudness (SPL)....and with prudent use of ......and an understanding of what an equaliser can do...and also an understanding of frequencies and how the human ear percieves different frequencies and what effect these frequencies have on hearing .......all go a long way to produce an acceptable yet seemingly 'Loud' mix.
Micro Phone: looks like I`ll have to come down there..I have a number of things i`d like to get rid of......BTW.does anyone have the specifications of a PIONEER mixing amplifier SA-V210?..It was my first amp purchased from Capital second hand several years ago and worked great.... .and still does.... has many features... although underpowered for the purpose of making 'ears bleed'..LOL.....it always performed well.

I too am quite weary of the snide remarks in response to many of our posts...You first burst onto the W2S forum in stoic defense of the now infamous and banned KKK.........a Host who was banned from this forum after a history of inappropriate and vindictive behaviour...sometimes even hysteria.......this bizarre behaviour also extended beyond the realms of this forum into 'real life'....however I dont expect you to believe that...... and thats fine, thats your perrogative!..........this person in an effort to maintain victim status ...... and along with some of her 'friends'..... developed an agenda that sought to make a mockery of W2S and all it stood for .......along with that came a blatant anti ROVICS agenda based on quite absurd and irrational perceptions of reality.....and for me to go into a long and boring treatise on the matter in this forum would not be appropriate.
However we have been Involved with W2S almost from its inception and as such would like to think that we have gained the respect and 'virtual' friendship of many if not all forum members........We believe that overall we have conducted ourselves with dignity and courtesy to all..... whilst all the while maintaining 'our' truth.......Given the above I am quite happy to call a truce......and its really quite simple.....you treat us with courtesy and respect and we will reciprocate
