From the Where2sing.com forum:

Hi David It hasn't been quite as easy as I would have liked, however after a bit of explaining about the blankett licence and the fact that it comes from our licensing authority here in Australia they're okay about letting me use the burnt discs at venues. My licence says that I am permitted to use the burnt backup disc at venues as long as I have permission from the record companies. I am not permitted to use the discs for any other purpose ie sell, use it in a second set up etc. Mind you it has taken on average a couple of emails to each company to get them to understand what my request is exactly and they aren't aware of who APRO/AMCOS are so I've had to explain this also. I am only waiting on one more reply and I will have achieved what I set out to do. Regards

REPLY from David
Ah, very interesting - so it's the terms of the blanket licence that limit the use to simply copying the disc for use instead (not as well) as the original. Many thanks...
