Good report buddy! Enjoying it. Do have to say though that I am glad I didn't come along after all. I miss the Menzies - used to work just up the street from there - but Covent Garden??? Not my scene AT ALL. Been invited there many times. Only the possibility of appearing on national television got me to go back. I wonder if young Lachlan still attends. At risk of sounding like a pompous blowhard, I think I do a better job of Elvis Presley songs than most but this young redhead (Lachlan) puts me to shame even with my fave, powerful Elvis numbers. The kid sure has a fantastic voice on him and I tip my hat to him for his Elvis renditions. It's nice to hear someone actually doing them justice rather than simply mimicking Elvis' vocal nuances.
Knew the Sly Fox when it was just the Enmore Hotel... Used to DO the gig there. Didn't much care for it back then but look forward to the report.
