| From the Where2sing.com forum: Yes it is a shame to see CCC go, I will agree with Mic Rophone on that. What I think is a terrible shame is that the kid's karaoke which was on a Saturday evening up until the talent contest started last year also bit the dust. Mick hosted most of those kids shows and he loved doing it and the kids liked him too. I know that people have work commitments and family commitments but I have to wonder what it was about CCC that made it lose patronage and why it has now come down to this Tuesday being the final karaoke show? I suppose various people will have their own points of view on this. Was it the fact that it was on a Tuesday night ?(and from what I can gather by reading the Gig Listings, Tuesday night is not a popular night for karaoke). I suppose it is one of 'those things' that I will never really know the answer to and as I said in my earlier posting, I (along with everyone else associated in some way with Karaoke Kaper) just have to accept that this is it and get on with other things. There will be other shows (hopefully) but I am still a bit sad to see CCC end. However 'Puss In Boots' and I have got a few things planned to help 'brighten the place up a bit' and hopefully make it a good, memorable night for everyone who comes along.
