| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi, I just moved back to Sydney - now in a different part that I am used to. I am glad to see Karaoke still around. The thing I have found interesting is that the two that I have been frequenting now have like a lucky dip system where you can win prizes. This is a great idea to get people to attend and stay to the end. The only problem with some venues (usually hotels) is that the drinks can be so expensive. Most karaokers go out a few nights each week and boy that can add up. This is where the prizes come in handy, either free drinks or money. I am now living in the Greystanes area and am continually looking in the papers etc for venues.
