Hi everyone

Just a comment on some of the clubs that have cancelled karaoke lately and to pick up on Di's comments (from Rising Star Karaoke) about Campbelltown Tennis Club cancelling their karaoke just like Cumberland Community Club did recently. I can guarantee that there is hardly anyone at CCC these days on a Tuesday night (unless of course it has gone over to the Texas Poker that seems to be getting everyone in). I have to wonder why the clubs are cancelling karaoke? CCC did not always have a lot of singers, but it never seemed to worry anyone until Toongabbie Bowling Club took over.

Di, sorry but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you personally, but do you think that you will get Campbelltown Tennis Club back on a regular basis or are you happy with the one show a month? Did the club given you any reason why they cancelled in the first place?

I suppose it really doesn't matter how hard a karaoke owner tries to keep his/her show fun and interesting, sometimes the club just wants to try 'something different' - whatever the 'something different' is???!!!

Speaking of fun shows, 'Puss In Boots' and I have made some Easter goodies to be given away Sunday night at the Band Club. The two 'cats of karaoke' are working on a new song called 'Strokin' as a duo. We tried the song out on Thursday night at a karaoke show and had a lot of fun with it. Maybe we might try the song again Sunday night.

I hope that everyone is enjoying their Easter break.
