I just love it when I visit a gig and the host (or any of his team)gets up and warbles a tune it tells me straight away I am in the right KARAOKE spot with the right operator who like myself and other operators is in the business BECAUSE we enjoy the FELLOWSHIP and COMMUNITY it CREATES! It 's also LOUD and CLEAR to me the HOST is under an OBLIGATION to his EMPLOYER to provide something called ENTERTAINMENT, the gig in question with 19 and 23 singers is not a bad night so if BOILINGPOINT got their songs in what's the beef, or should I ask them how was the 'roast beef special' that night and did they enjoy the 'drinks specials' it seems obvious from BOILINGPOINTS opinion they were there to sing KARAOKE there way unfortunately BillyT in WA starts each round and finishes with disco, we will go overtime so no one misses a song in the round which by the way averages 27 singers most nights one of our GIGS is on front page happy little lot don't ya think and that night there was 38 singers and little Billy and wife Noelene sang their little hearts out and everyone was happy! So I believe if ya in the FELLOWSHIP of KARAOKE it means you sing your little heart out I mean how many priests in the pulpit do you see not singing the Hymns.HAPPY EASTER
