I like hearing the hosts at my favorite karaoke venue sing, they are both such great singers and entertainers, they usually sing at the start and at the end. i love it when J does her 'get me out of here' song at the end. They often have a dance break in the middle but if its too busy like last night, they dont, which is good.
But I went to another venue and the hosts assisant got up and sang the first song and it was a song that i really wanted to sing, so that was a shame.
I have also seen an assisant sing 5 times in 1 night when most people only got to sing twice, which I think is a bit unfair.
i guess there is a fine line between whats accectable and what nots, and will also differ from person to person.
