From the Where2sing.com forum:

David I have been following with interest the burning of back up discs under a blanket licence from APRA.
If this was a one of costs then it may be feasible and would be like an insurance on all of your discs.
As I understand though you have to pay each year.
The figures quoted were for 2000 songs.
Am I to assume that this then would be triple for say my collection of 6000 songs (4500 without repeat)?
If this is the case then it is becoming quite expensive to have back ups.
I note that someone already mentioned that Capital has in place a policy of $10 per replacement disc.
Yesterday when I was ordering the new CK 29 and CK 30 I asked if it was still the policy and was told yes it is.
The $10 replacement policy also covers mailing costs which is extremely good considering that the discs are always sent via express post and arrive the next day
I for one cannot see the justification in paying that sort of money per year when I can simply replace a disc here and there so cheaply.
Only my thoughts
Kind regards
Kev
