| From the Where2sing.com forum: mysterious q: welcome to the often quite sometimes volitile Qld chat arena!!...My anomosity towards the voting system is that i do not think it is a true reflection of the karaoke scene in brissy but rather a tool for some to manipulate their prestige in the industry...this fact emphasied to me by the chance talk with an old friend who told me about the email sent to them by a host, to encourage them to vote for a venue that they had never even been too...and made worse by the fact that said host once denied having encouraged any such thing....'Submitted by Rovics Karaoke (a host from QLD, Australia):
jlee: just to answer your question ...I would say that approx 85% of the ACT regulars have been to the RG at least once....with many coming on a regular though not weekly basis.......The top 10 venue rating is facinating me also at this stage......believe it or not... we have NOT instigated a mass voting campaign..in fact we have done nothing
