Trying to figure out J'lee.... one would have to go very far left of field............but let me add...the point that Jlee is missing in his last cut and paste post referring to ..............quote Rovics '......believe it or not... we have NOT instigated a mass voting campaign..in fact we have done nothing' ..........was written by Rovics in reference to the Royal George. You see we have always emailed and encouraged our associates to vote for their favourite venue and at that stage it was only ever for the ACT (Albany Creek) where we hosted for over 4 years. ACT dominated top of QLD and NAT forum while we were there . When we left that gig we were stunned when in a few weeks, our other long term veunue (RG) suddenly surged to the top of the ladder and we in fact had 'done nothing'. ie.... RG had never been anywhere near the ladder. So, we have continued the ACT success story though voting encouragement and we regularly keep in touch with our regulars and anybody else who has willingly supplied us their email address and that is called......... positive marketing and promotion.
The simple fact is, if you are in business and you have what you believe to be a good product , you could do one of three things................do nothing, ...............do something positive, ...................or discredit your business by being arrogant, unapproachable and 'anti' towards every competitor. Bottom line is we have opted to do something and regularly keep contact with all our friends and associates and then encourage them to show their support on THE biggest and BEST marketing medium in the business of karaoke promotion .................Where2sing.com
We also travel far and wide to support other hosts and we are always happy to see other hosts at our shows.
Jlee appears by his posts to have an anti-Rovics attitude but it's not all bad...............a few posts back we realised who Jlee is. Still not entirely sure why the animosity cause we know J'lee is really quite a nice person deep down ....... just a little left of field for the sake of forum fun. Some will love ya............some won't love ya..................and some will go to any lengths to discredit in true soapbox style! Must admit, it keeps us all amused and ready to click into W2Sing to see 'what's happening of the forum'....LOL!!!
