| From the Where2sing.com forum: I was just reading the front page 'Karaoke's Like That' and I am wondering if the person who wrote it is talking about someone that I know by the name of Marcus. Oh boy this guy has to be seen to be believed!! Tall, skinny, long hair, long moustache, a definite left over from the hippie era, jumps and dances all around the stage area (and anywhere else that he can find), has a gravel toned voice, but he is such a nice man. He comes from the Newcastle area and I first met him at Windsor RSL when he came in with his brother Nick, talk about opposites - you wouldn't know that the two of them were brothers. He got on stage and sang 'Jump in my car' and I have never seen or heard it sung like this guy did!! He entered the last talent contest at CCC and got as far as the Grand Final and I really don't think that the judges had seen anyone (or anything) like him!! He didn't win but he certainly got marks for originality!! Marcus if you happen to read this then I hope it is not too long before you come back to Sydney (and the Band Club) for another fun filled night.
