| From the Where2sing.com forum: Thankyou Netta I'm heaps better now tho' sporting a lovely Yellowish bruise on my cheek.EEEK!!! not a pretty site.I know I missed a great show on saturday night It killed me to stay home but i really was in agony, thankgod its over and done with at least untill the 3rd of next month and the surgeon wants me back .What for I dont know...I suppose at my age I should be grateful that I've still got most of my own teeth.The only thing worrying me is that they scratched my throat with the tube they put in and they said I might get nodes on my vocal cords.Just my luck to find something I love to do then something happen to get in the way of it ,or maybe I'm worrying for nothing I know I cant sing at the moment cos'I'm all raspy.Trust a Pommy to whinge and moan eh,LOL
Johnny B..I know a lot of people like Dennis,and theyre always soooooo bad on the ears and they always go around and say how was that song ?thats the first time I've sang it.and what did you think of that one?I always say did you enjoy singing it? they say yes.then I say well thats all you need then isnt it?.because these people just DONT hear themselves.I'm amazed that they truly think theyre so great and everyone else is s.... The trouble is that so many people pander to them and tell them how great they are and they truly believe it.I think its a shame sometimes because behind their backs people make fun of them.Theres a comp chaser that I know and he sits all night just shaking his head even when the singer at the time is really good in fact he's worse if theyre good.And he spits the dummy if he doesnt get first or second in the comps.The trouble is he still sings the same songs that he was singing 5 years ago when I first heard him.Some of these people have to be seen to be believed..
