Poor Gazza - I wonder if his ears are burning when we are all talking about him!! He is a nice bloke really, it is just that he is so critical of everyone around him at karaoke and thinks he should win every contest that he enters!! I first met him many years ago when he was singing every Thursday night at karaoke at Mt Druitt Workers Club and he sang a lot of Johnny O'Keefe songs then. He knows not to give me any of his crappy talk as he will get it right back again!! Gazza comes to all of the parties that Mick and I have here, he is usually the first to arrive (with an Esky full of V.B) and the last to leave, but he is a good sport and a nice bloke to have around and loves to get out in our karaoke room and sing his heart out!!
Johnny B, Gazza doesn't sing the songs I mentioned in contests, he sings a lot of Johnny O'Keefe songs and sometimes a slower song or two, the two songs I mentioned he sings at the Band Club Sunday night karaoke. I know that 'Puss In Boots' has started singing 'Bad Case of Loving You' recently but I don't think that Gazza has heard her sing it, so I wonder how he would react to someone else singing 'HIS' song!!! I think he would mutter something to himself and those around him and then get up and either go to the Men's room or go and get a beer!! That's our Gazza!!!
