| From the Where2sing.com forum: hi host from a popular victorian venue unfortunately had a few singers from a gig i filled in for someone else for a couple of weeks in at my gig on sat night asked if they could play their own disks unfortunately i could not help em no hard feelings just got a boss that dont understand singers requirements am endevouring to fix this issue im not a host but a lover of karaoke and was reminded how good it was to on anzac eve we had 500+ people my god wot a crowd i ran through about 60 singers with only a 20 min music break in 4.5 hrs i earnt my money that night iknew karaoke wasnt dead but when patrons send nasty sms messages to ya sayin you run a shit show they really shouldnt leave their ph number its hard when you got 200 singers and only 60 spots i dont play favorites i got to listen to management as well think of your song choice when its pumpin i cant put something slow on ireally try to keep my rotation but tues was crazy more and more people want to sing and thats good for us some times i physically cant help everyone bercause my hands are tied sorry to the 6 singers who missed out extra drink cards for you when youre back there next time. regards your hard workin host.......
