I knew of the Pioneer Tav's semi, hence the good luck wishes to netta previous post. :) I went to Quakers Hill where I discovered unfortunately, there is no comp running at the moment. That gig's copped flak in the past but I think it was very well run last night. Even though I only got there with an hour and a half left I got 2 songs in. Kate's a lovely host even though she may not be the pizzazziest of them but with her looks and that voice, I think people are able to readily forgive her. I also got to dance a few times with the ''candiest'' of the eye candies which was most enjoyable as she actually knew how to move on the dance floor. Mm mm mm.... ;) Got lovely compliments on my voice from different folk too which is always good and had the ladies up on the dance floor for my 2nd number so, was a lot of fun for me. I'd go back again next week if it wasn't for the fact I'll be in the semi final at Matraville.
Tonight, I'm off to Northmead for one of the early heats in their comp. Never entered the comps there but saw one grand final and liked it.
