I was asked to Judge the grand final of the Go Karaoke comp on 26th of next month but i had to decline as i have a gig at Rainbow Beach that night, pity as i enjoy the free nibblies and beers that Martin always puts on & all the other fun shenanigans that are guaranteed to go down at such an event, the tears, the tantrums, the parents/partners of the ones shedding the tears, the fear of being lynched in the car park... fantastic.
To the forumers (is that a word...?) with the obvious anti Rovics agenda, i would like to add that i have had many dealings business wise with Vic & Rosalie and have found them honest, reliable, punctual payers & a pleasure to deal with, they also seem to have a love of both music & karaoke & most things entertainment... i like that in a host, i have also been to the now ex ACT gig as a judge and found them both welcoming and organised, i have also attended the Royal George gig on a social basis and again found them to be as welcoming as what they were on the more formal grand final occasion.
I feel i should also add that i feel i have good working relationship with Karma Karaoke/Go Karaoke/Funda & just about every other host i deal with on a regular basis at Capital Karaoke so my views expressed in this forum are unbiassed and free from prejudice.
