Rosalie here.......re: 'Whats your fav song' ....... sometimes when I put on a disc to find a particular song I often just flick from track to track to see if can recognise other songs because titles can be so deceiving - agree, it really is an amazing feeling when you hear a melody of a song you haven't heard for ages and you nail it right there in your lounge room LOL. A host we know (our fav Fri night venue) put on a song for me (as a surprise) ....& said........ hey why don't you try this one .......... it was a Nora Jones classic. I had such a good time singing this song which I have never sung before but the melody lay in the back of my mind and the host backed me up with an amazing harmony. What a thrill! I'd never thought to try Nora Jones because usually steer towards upbeat stuff - latest songs are 'Sweet Escape Gwen Stefani' 'Be My Lover.....La Bouche'.........and believe it or not ........'This Ain't A Scene it's A God Damn Arms Race' which I sing with any guy that's game enough! LOL. Not so sure about all the lyrics for this one but love the chorus and challenging twists in the verses. Thanks for the topic James.
