I take issue with your making it sound like I am telling porkies though cos I assure you I am not. Tis not my custom. As for ''ALL'' those times you've seen me sing, that's only 3 or 4 times by my count - twice or thrice at Chatswood RSL and once at Covent Garden - so it doesn't surprise me that you have not witnessed it in the oh, 14 years I've been singing at karaoke. Besides, I didn't mean to imply it happens ALL the time. Like I said, those were EXTREME cases and quite entirely unexpected. That kind of stuff usually only happens when I give a particularly energetic performance as my first number - something I dare say you have never witnessed from me.
Girl #1 (Jay): Triple 8 (the original one), Girl #2 (Kat): Willoughby Hotel, Girl #3 (Kimmy / Kimberley): Parramatta One World Sport. I've no idea what I sang those first 2 occasions to get these girls all hot and bothered but the 3rd being a comp, I recall was Elvis' ''Kiss Me Quick'' - not exactly a song you'd expect to have that kind of effect on a girl but there you have it. Actually, come to think of it, I don't think any of these girls sang. Possibly Kimmy but I don't recall and alas, the ones who could attest to at least the latter 2 of these events either no longer post here or could not be tempted to even though they read the forums.
I don't care if you believe it or not, that's your prerogative. I just don't like my integrity being questioned and certainly don't appreciate it being implied as questionable in an open forum like this. People can make up their own minds - just as they can about whether I'm good on stage in their opinion or not which as I have said before is why I advertise which comps I'll be attending, so they can come see for themselves if they wish. I may be a show off but I'm no liar.
