I worded that wrongly. I meant ''financially benefit'' not profit. I got that idea from what the law on copyright used to be prior to the digital age which stated as such. As for the question of law, it is a law put in place to protect song writers, so really, only a song writer taking issue with it would do anything to protect their material. Whether or not they do is based on their feeling there was an infringement worth pursuing, so it is relevant. Don't tell me you are such a stickler for the law that you will not cross an Australian street within 100m of a pedestrian crossing! lol. Laws are not the issue. It is the purpose of the law that is important. People lose sight of that far too often and our individual rights and freedoms are whittled away because of that.
