Culling songs from any karaoke list is a karaoke-sin! Hello! This is karaoke. Free for all. Not a concert. Not a recital. To each his/her own. Most people may go out for karaoke once in a blue-moon. To them everything is new. To the sad people who frequent karaoke bars 1-2-3-4-5 times a week .... well, you just have to lump it. It's like watching the same movie over and over again. It's like going for the same comedy act over and over again, to the point that the punch lines are no longer funny! No two person 'attacks' the same song similarly - hence, to me, every rendition of every song is a 'newie' to my ears, unless it's the same old crowd (with not too endearing attitudes mind you) singing the same songs week in week out and still not get it 'right' ... but in the end, they are entitled to that too ... it is karaoke after all, free for young and old, the talented and the awful, come what may ... Read feedback from singers who have already visited the venue, and see information such as songlist size, crowd size, type of singer and even how much applause you can expect when you visit each gig.

Or visit the forums where both singers and hosts meet and chat - including State-chat forums where you can make friends whom you'll meet up with at a venue near you.

And there are the Gig Reviews, the constantly updated 'National Top 10 Karaoke Venues' chart, specialised lists of venues for Under 18s and currently running Competitions, lists for karaoke rooms, restaurants, karaoke hosts and supplliers, and karaoke news from all around the workd.

Of course, the best way to keep up to date is by opting in for the FREE weekly Karaoke News Email.
