Booing, not enjoying Karaoke and saying it’s not fun, maybe you should try some anger management course to relieve your tension, because you certainly appear in print to be uptight.
If we can learn to look through a window screen and not focus on the squashed bug on the other side then certainly we can do the same at Karaoke occasionally.
As a Host I’ve had my fair share of people singing Loud, off key and out of tune and as a father that went to many a talent quest with my daughters in their singing careers and then hearing someone else’s children murdering songs completely, then I think I’m qualified to say that you have to look beyond the window screen and then you begin to enjoy.
Karaoke for me both as a Host and also as an occasional punter is and always will be, about fun.
Long live Karaoke, the good, the bad and the off key.
