| From the Where2sing.com forum: why do venues decide to shut early?? I mean if they're paying for 4hrs entertainment why not just go the distance anyway, you never know what will happen by the end of a night!!
As an example i was in the valley thursday taking in a live performance and afterwards a group of friends and i decided we'd cruise the valley venues only to find that some of the entertainment had finished before it's advertised times. Which was a bit dissappointing, but luckily enough there was still some stuff on in town so a quick cab ride kept us going for a few more hours!! Thank goodness for the victory!!
