lex, Fossie, Joan, red...
Looks like I'm first to say here that it was so nice to meet you all at Mt Druitt tonight. I had a lot of fun there.
Nice to see you too, A Cowboy's Sweetheart and to finally meet the cowboy himself who reminds me so much of a one time uncle of mine.

What a great karaoke FJ's runs there. Comments I shall have to contribute to about the gig! I'll be back for sure.

It's funny, Fossie, but your KJ voice reminds me so much of another KJ's I know - Murray of Popsicles Karaoke. I swear if I took a recording of each of you in action, folks would be hard pressed to distinguish you. Not a judgement or anything, just an interesting bit of trivia, I thought.

Guys, Fossie and Joan are the sweetest pair of KJs and so very entertaining. If you get the chance, you HAVE to check out their gigs. I love, love, LOVED their Elvis selection too. Pity 'Such A Night' was in a different key from the original (to my ear, anyway) - it made me regret trying that song after such a favourable response to the first one but hey, it's all part of karaoke experimentation, innit?

Sorry we didn't get to dance, lex. How funny was that older lady who wouldn't let you cut in (and rescue me from her)? I fully intended to allow you to cut in anyway but she had a hold on my hand like the proportionate strength of a newborn baby's grip so I couldn't get away even though I was trying - to say nothing of the bearhug she was applying to my torso. lol. Not the kind of amorous attention to which I am accustomed (age wise)! rofl
After bidding goodnight to you guys, I saw YOUR dance partner at the train station who, without a word of greeting and in a hostile tone of 'What are you looking at?' said, 'Where'd you get the coat?' I gave him a second chance at cordiality by pretending to not have caught what he said, saying, 'Sorry?' but alas, he just repeated it tone and all, so I merely responded with the suburb's name. With a look of deep envy and still with unfriendly tone as if it was just his luck to not have a coat like mine, he said, 'It's a nice coat.' Weird character! lol. Man, did we each hit the jackpot with our partners or what? We were IN, I tell you! lmao
Hope to see you at another gig some time.

Music Addict...
Me confused. Consolation for what? Also, re the front page: I see your venue of choice but no pics of you or anything, so... why the blushing? I couldn't recall what Millsy looked like so I Googled and there is a shot that does indeed remind me of you! lol
