| From the Where2sing.com forum: Kittitude I have always played singers disc’s provided they are original and not copies.
I also allow people to bring original cd’s along to sing with, but this happens very, very, rarely now as I have a good selection of songs over 13,000 (8,300 without repeat) so there is less need for singers to bring along disc’s but they are most welcome to do so.
There are only a few registered places were singers can get their backing disc made up and these have the licence agreement clearly printed on them and from whom they are made.
If this is not displayed or I suspect it’s just a burnt copy with no proof then they are told “sorry but no” and they either pick a song from my list or they don’t sing.
Very simple but effective and guess what they either come with originals next time or they don’t come back again.
