That's an interesting perspective you introduced there. I suppose there is merit after all if others are indeed entertained.
I still think they should use karaoke discs - whether their own or the KJ's - if there is an audience screen cos then the audience can at least follow the lyrics and feel like the singer is part of the night of fun rather than as an entertainer separate from the crowd. It detracts from the atmosphere when the audience feels left out, imo.
