| From the Where2sing.com forum: Re Backing Tracks.
As I have already stated in my previous post I don’t care if a person sings from a music CD or a backing track providing it’s an original and not a copied disc.
When a singer sings from a none Karaoke Disc I always announce that the words will not be coming up on the screen because it’s a music CD.
If a person wants to test out a backing track in front of a live Audience (as opposed to a dead one at home) and it’s a commercial made backing track or CD, no problems.
Don’t forget that they to have to wait their turn to sing the same as everyone else, with the only difference being no words on the screen.
If the Lady in question drinks, brings friends with her and you won’t let her sing, then please tell her about Peakhurst Inn and that she is more than welcome.
