| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi Anthony......That's great , sure most hosts these days have well over 5000 to 8000 clear title songs and really in Most cases ( but not all cases ) there is no need for people to bring there own discs , but there is one reason i would bring my own discs and indeed i do , if I'm visiting a show for the first time , i bring my own discs as i am then 100% sure that I'll be singing the renditions i know , naturally I'll ask the host first and then produce my discs if there isn't a problem , like-wise if the host only has a small list (800 to 3000 songs) and they only contain the ' same ol' same ol' ' karaoke songs , I'll ask and then produce the discs if ok , of-course if this is too much of a problem for the host ,well then perhaps I'll take my business else-where
But why some-one comes to your show for there karaoke fun is there business , and you should treat each and every customer with all due respect and be thankful they choose your show to have there karaoke fun , of-course they must respect the venue and your show by accepting the law of copy-right and NOT bring illegal discs to your show and try to get you to play the illegal discs
