| From the Where2sing.com forum: Its clear that most operators are of the opinion that burnt (illegally obtained) discs are detrimental to this industry.... of that there is no doubt.......however...I remain of the opinion that as operators we should be eligible to have a working copy (digital or disc) of any disc that we legally own.....and if required more copies for a fee ...this has been discussed many times before on this forum and like myself I am certain many operators have discs that despite all the care in the world will suddenly have one song that will jump or whatever then reordering the disc only to find it has been discontinued.
The laws that govern all of this needs a serious upgrade.....after all as operators are we not also promoting the music free of charge?
