I was very interested in your section 5. re blanket licence..As I have started my own buisness specialising in compilation CDGs..Have looked into all the do's and don'ts of the buisness..The section on obtaining permission to backup copies from karaoke creators is not as dry and cut as you have explained..To obtain I licence from these companies to do backups..Does incur a fee..The company ZOOM..Like CAPITAL will not give permission..Hope that wee bit of information helps your readers. The article and coments were pertaining to a blanket licence for the purpose of backing up an exisi9ting disc collection for safety, but I thought your project was to put together a compilation of tracks from different karaoke companies with the purpose of selling your discs?
