Your right you know good old fashion respect would be nice how ever the world we live in now days is far from the days of old.
If the person you are talking about is the Snake and I would guess it is then I am affaid he does not have respect for no one.
I understand that you need to protect the couple of gigs you have left and knowing the history of the way you got Karaoke Kapers I do hope that you are able to grow your business and do wish you the best there in that regard.
I would say to you that you will need to show some of that fight as you do here at time and get out there and fight for you gigs so that the snake does not worn his way into any of them. look the point is that the Gigs you have are not about to give them to this snake even if he does gigs for a dollar so dont worry as you know he always trys to worm into venues but never does any good.
The point is to remember that if it is not him it will be some one else calling on you venue and that this is just how it is.
If you put on a good show and look after the venue you should be fine but understand someone is always ready to call on your customer and as much as we all would like to think we are the best at what we do there is always someone that may just be better.This is what keeps us on our toes so we always have to remember to raise the bar each time we do a show and not drop the ball.
