Well, whilst I'm here, I'm going to name and shame a KJ who uses karaoke discs made of songs downloaded illegally: 'Sounds Like Karaoke' owned & run by Neil Clixby of Morisset.
I understand this warrants as libel but I take full responsibility for it and state for the record that neither David or where2sing.com should be held liable for my statement here.
I am aware of many of Sounds Like Karaoke's Elvis Presley tracks and one Neil Diamond track in particular being illegal copies but would not be surprised if other such CD-G's exist in Mr Clixby's collection.
They are easily identified not only by the uniform labeling via his home computer's printer but also, when these tracks are played, at the bottom of the screen can be seen the name of the software program he used to make the copies (not very bright of him).
To my knowledge this KJ has no current gigs but if I were a venue manager or KJ looking to offer work to another, I certainly would not hire nor commend such a dishonest fellow.
